Dragon Ball Super does its best to live up to expectations, and the anime certainly did just that with its latest episode. This weekend, the anime dropped its 115th episode, and the release saw Goku breaks his limits to go Ultra Instinct against Super Saiyan Kefla.
If you have already watched the show’s new episode, then you know it was a trying one for Goku. The hero was pitted against Kefla after Kale and Caulifla fused using their Kaioshin’s Potara earrings. The technique left Universe 6 with one unimaginably strong fusion on its side, and Super Saiyan God Goku struggled against the fighter.
During the pair’s match, Goku went so far as to bust out his Super Saiyan Blue form, but Super Saiyan Kefla still gave the hero a rough time. The fighters pushed themselves to their limits as Kefla grew exhausted and Goku’s already waning stamina came to a short stop. By the battle’s end, Goku was tossed out of his SSB form and seemingly put at Kefla’s mercy – but Ultra Instinct came in to save the day.
After standing up to Kefla, Goku found himself assaulted with a barrage of energy blasts. The hero managed to evade each of them with ease, and everyone who witnessed the dodge were stunned. Kefla tried the attack again as she assumed Goku had just gotten lucky, but the Universe 7 hero proved her wrong. After dodging the attacks once more, Goku did a full-on transformation into the Ultra Instinct state he debuted during his fight with Jiren.
